BASE-SEAL BS-100 CONCENTRATE
Liquid Soil Stabilizer is...

LESS EXPENSIVE:  One of the many significant features of BASE-SEAL BS-100 is its low cost. You will save as much as 50% with BASE-SEAL BS-100, compared with other liquid stabilizers. It is approximately 10 times less expensive per sq. yard when compared to lime stabilization. At a very competitive price you can buy a superior product giving you a significant reduction in road maintenance and repair costs.  Because BASE-SEAL BS-100 Liquid Soil Stabilizer is a concentrate, you save on shipping costs.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE: Non-liquid stabilizers such as lime and soil cement tend to be extremely dusty and harmful to equipment, vegetation, animals, and people. Also, other liquid stabilizers, such as sulfuric acid, are corrosive, and extremely hazardous. In comparison,
BASE-SEAL BS-100 independent test results prove it to be 100% less corrosive than Houston, Texas tap water *. Its chemical makeup actually prevents corrosion of equipment, and poses no danger to road crews. BASE-SEAL BS-100 requires no special procedures, clothing, or handling. It is easily applied with common road construction equipment. BASE-SEAL BS-100 contains no acids, or explosive materials. It is not subject to special DOT, OSHA, or EPA requirements for transportation, storage, or disposal of containers.

EASY TO USE: BASE-SEAL is simply diluted in the water truck and then applied. This convenient method of application assures an even distribution for maximum effectiveness. In addition,
BASE-SEAL BS-100 contains a revolutionary cohesive agent that forces a tighter bond of the soil, while preventing adhesion of material to grader blades and rollers.

VERSATILE: BASE-SEAL
is a very effective additive for lime or soil cement for cost saving and added strength, especially when used with sandy or granular soils.
BASE-SEAL BS-100 only requires 15% fines passing a 200 sieve and it is very adaptable to a wide range of soils.

ADDITIONAL
BASE-SEAL BS-100 BENEFITS

REDUCES THE PLASTICITY INDEX:
Colloidal materials are bound together during cementation action, creating larger particle sizes that contribute to the reduction of the plasticity index.

REDUCTION OF COEFFICIENT OF PERMEABILITY: Independent scientific studies reveal when
BASE-SEAL BS-100 reaches maximum viscosity, the colloidal sols produce a gel which polymerizes. The result is a strong bond and the base becomes impermeable, preventing capillary action of subgrade water.* BASE-SEAL BS-100 is not biodegradable.

INCREASES SOIL BEARING CAPACITY: Compaction and bonding creates greater soil bearing capacity. Stabilization of at least 6" allows for the heaviest of traffic.
