REDUCES THE PLASTICITY INDEX: Colloidal materials are bound together during cementation action, creating larger particle sizes that contribute to the reduction of the plasticity index.
REDUCTION OF COEFFICIENT OF PERMEABILITY: Independent scientific studies reveal when BASE-SEAL BS-100 reaches maximum viscosity, the colloidal sols produce a gel which polymerizes. The result is a strong bond and the base becomes impermeable, preventing capillary action of subgrade water.² BASE-SEAL BS-100 is not biodegradable.
